ASQ Lean Six Sigma Consultant
Brooks Davis brings a service based mission to help companies take the “next step” in their continuous improvement journey.
Brooks has taught Lean Six Sigma principles at Harding University as an adjunct professor and has participated in quality management programs in three different banking groups, including Arvest, First Commercial, and Simmons First banks.
During Brooks’ 13 years of service as President / CEO of Simmons First Bank of Searcy, he oversaw process improvements that improved the bank’s efficiency ratios by over 5%, or $200,000 annually through the utilization of Lean Six Sigma principles.
Key components of the bank’s continuous improvement program were Quality 101 and 201 basics for all associates as well
as monthly process improvement
meetings. Keys to the success of the
bank’s program were an equal emphasis
on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and associate engagement.
Brooks graduated with honors from Harding University’s College of Business in 1989 with a degree in Management.
While at Harding he was a 3 year starter
for the Bison football team and served as chairman of the Student Association Spiritual Life Committee.
Brooks is certified as an ASQ Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and is pursuing his MBA from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Brooks and his wife, Jill, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary in 2015. They have three children, Jace (22), Trey (20), and Ally (17). They are members of the Downtown Church of Christ. A native of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, he has lived in Arkansas for 30 years now and is a dual fan of both states’ teams.
